Our approach
How we teach
Lessons are planned around clear learning objectives, taught in small classes and supported by continuous assessment so teachers can respond quickly when a pupil needs more challenge or more help.
Reading sits at the centre of the school day. Systematic phonics in the early years grows into a daily reading culture across the primary years, and numeracy is taught for mastery rather than memorisation.
Beyond the core subjects, pupils take part in ICT, robotics, full-stack web development, languages, creative arts and practical kitchen skills. Learners with additional needs are supported through our SEN support provision.
